WHO IS QUINCY MORAN
Quincy Moran is the creator and the main voice of Man vs. Marriage the
podcast, A MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER, A FORMER MINISTER, ONE HALF OF THE MORAN BROTHERS WEIGHTLOSS TANDEM, AND FORMERLY THE VOICE OF REAL-LIFE MUSIC BOTH LIVE EVENTS AND ON THE RADIO! He has multiple names he goes by besides BABYLOVE and dad. You can call him Q, QDawG, Quincy, Bama, OR Roll Tide ! He isn't picky.
Quincy is a country boy at heart originally from Alabama. Quincy's parents divorced when he was five-years-old which moved him to California. In spite of moving to California with his mother, he did spend a handful of years in Alabama with his father. He moved back to California after his Freshman year of college with the intention of playing football and continuing his college education however, in 1997, he was hired at a construction equipment rental company and it changed the course of his life.
IT WAS AFTER THIS MOVE TO CALIFORNIA Quincy MET AND married his wife, Jeanne in 1999 and through the ups and downs of their marriage, Man vs. Marriage the podcast was born. 8 beautiful children later, The Notorious 10 includes triplets and twins (all 8 biological and none adopted - yet) and 3 of the 8 ares pecial needs. Quincy and Jeanne's only son and two of their triplets have autism spectrum disorder.
It was around the ten year mark of their marriage (that was simply surviving) that Quincy and Jeanne decided to begin marriage counseling. Thinking that counseling was going to be simply about marriage was a miscalculation. Through this, the world of personal development and Marriage Coaching opened wide and set Quincy on a journey that has redefined and redesigned his life.
Quincy is a big time Alabama, Crimson Tide Football Fan. And his mission is to enhance the lives of men and their marriages through his personal journey alongside his wife!

Roll Tide!
HELLO AND WELCOME TO
MAN VS. MARRIAGE THE PODCAST!
My name is Quincy Moran, but I’ll answer to Q, QDawG, Quincy, Bama or Roll Tide - take your pick. I am excited to unveil my mission to enhance the lives of men and their marriages through my own journey along with my Wife Jeanne!
I’ve been married since 1999, that is almost 23 years (wow that’s so crazy to see in writing!). I am a father to 8 beautiful children, and I want to you know, yes we have our hands full!
Our family dynamics are quite interesting as our crew (which we refer to as The Notorious 10) includes triplets and twins, yes they are all ours and none are adopted (we’ll be doing that later). Another interesting dynamic is 3 of our children are special needs. My only son and two of our triplets have autism spectrum disorder.
It was a little over 9 years ago with a marriage that was just surviving that my wife and I decided, thanks to the advice of Coach Rita, to begin marriage counseling. Thinking that counseling was going to be just about our marriage was a miscalculation on my part, that’s just not how Coach Rita rolls baby! I’m glad!
Weight Loss Journey
My journey to better health began in 2009. As a nearly 400lb man, I saw myself on camera and realized a few things. I was a fraud, I was sad and defeated. I believed in everyone but me. I was void of self-worth because of my weight, I saw myself as a failure in all the things I did because of
- I was on a path to an early death, as a Husband and a Father of 8 that was just unacceptable. I needed to find a reason to rise, and by golly, I did.
For years I had been a yo-yo dieter, and like many a people, I got so frustrated with being a big fat pile of mush. I can remember feeling so trapped. Being overweight was so demoralizing to me, it’s something I couldn’t get away from. It was like every waking hour was a reminder inside this body, the pressure, the pain of merely trying to breathe, walk, play, and yeah the mobility even to have sex. At one point, I finally gave up and said: “I am just going to take my hands off the wheel and eat whatever, whenever, and however much I want, I am tired of trying.” It was that destructive mindset that caused me to balloon up to nearly 400lbs (in all honesty, I believe I was over 400lbs, I just didn’t have it in me to check). I was in a self-development course called Living Life by Design. Part of this course had you standing in front of everyone talking about you, your past, and your present. It had you reveal your most embarrassing, disappointing, and challenging moments while they recorded you on video. I am so grateful I saw myself on camera in such a vulnerable state because it truly spoke to the heart of who I had actually become. I was a happy go lucky entertainer with jokes and a heart full of joy, but on the inside.. not so much.
